Minerva Global was recently recognised by the London Stock Exchange as one of 1000 companies to Inspire Britain.   Minerva Global is the International Joint Venture Partner of one of the largest privately-owned grower and processor of Californian Almonds in the world. Minerva Global Limited has an annual turnover of approximately USD200,000,000 with forecasted increase of 20% year-on-year for the next 3-5 years. 

Having studied French and German at University of Bath, Ellie began her career in a commodity trading house in 1998 where she was responsible for industrial sales and trading in Europe. Minerva was established in 2009 by Ellie Osman as a processing and importing company of edible nuts.  Ellie was the first business leader in the South of England in 2009 to be awarded an Enterprise Finance Guarantee (EFG) by the UK Government to support greater lending. Ellie and her team at Minerva sold these commodities throughout Europe with a particular focus on natural almonds. The business was built upon a relationship of trust operated by a close team very much driven by building long lasting connections. As the business grew so did Minerva’s reputation becoming one of the most important European importers in the almond market. Over time Ellie recognized the importance of diversifying the business to keep up with growing market demands, such as sustainability and traceability.

In 2015, Ellie was approached by her current partners to open an international sales office on their behalf in London and such was the success of this operation that both businesses were merged in 2017 to form Minerva Global Limited. 

Minerva has a fantastic base to operate throughout numerous different time zones and continents. Minerva Global is structured to offer full logistical services unlike any other origin grower and packer with incoterm flexibility and warehousing options. Minerva has the financial strength and trade solution platforms to provide payment and currency options.  In addition to the joint venture Minerva continues to grow its supplier portfolio to offer customers a variety of strategic origin supply options whilst maintaining the quality of product and service that customers expect. Minerva’s team has tripled in size over the years, however the focus on customer relations, integrity and trust continues to be its ethos.
